Uptown Hair Studio
Lynnette received her vocational training in conjunction with her high school attendance. After high school she attended community
college and began working in a salon. Moving to the Silver Valley in 1994, she continued working as a stylist and opened Uptown
Hair Studio in 1999. The business continued to grow and in 2003 she purchased the current location. The historic building was
erected in 1909, housing first a bakery and then a Rexall Drug Store, which you can still see signs of in the current salon.
Lynnette strives for superior customer service and excellent quality work.
In her spare time Lynnette enjoys landscaping, home improvement projects and travel.
Meet Our Team
Lorii
Nail technician
After growing up in CDA Lorii moved to the Silver Valley in 1989. She received her training in CDA, ID in 1998 and joined Uptown Hair Studio in 2001. In addition to customary nail services, she excels in free hand nail art, earning top competitive awards every year. Lorii comes from an artistic family and some evidence of her granddaughters art can be seen around the nail table. Lorii spends much time doing volunteer work when not at the salon. She also loves to spend time quilting and sewing.
Lorrie
Massage therapist
Born and raised in the Silver Valley, Lorrie knows the people and the area well. She traveled extensively before settling back in the Silver Valley to pursue her career. She has been with Uptown Hair Studio since 2009. She offers relaxation massage, deep tissue massage, and cupping to her guests, often customizing the visit to each clients needs. After a day at the studio Lorrie devotes time to caring for animals large and small of hers and friends.
Elaine
Hair Stylist
Elaine's career started when she graduated from the Academy of Hair Design in Oregon state. She became licensed in 4 states: California, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. She brings to Idaho and to the team of Uptown Hair Studio her years of experience and superior skills. She enjoys the long term relationships shes builds with her clients, many lasting for the last 25 years. Elaine and her husband enjoy traveling now that they've raised their two children. When not in the salon Elaine and her husband love hunting, fishing, and boating .
